Luminescent gels by self-assembling platinum complexes.

چکیده
A platinum complex bearing a tetraethylene glycol chain has been designed and its self-assembly properties investigated. In solution, only a yellow phosphorescence of the aggregated species is observed. The complex gives luminescent gels of different colours with DCM and DMF, reaching up to 60% photoluminescence quantum yield.

Luminescent organogels based on triphenylamine functionalized β-diketones and their difluoroboron complexes.
A series of new triphenylamine functionalized β-diketones 1–3 and their difluoroboron complexes 1B–3B were synthesized. They exhibited strong intramolecular charge transfer (ICT) emission. It was found that their self-assembling properties depended on the molecular structures. For example, compounds 1 and 1B, in which only one β-diketone or difluoroboron β-diketone unit was linked to triphenyla...
متن کاملLuminescent polymeric hybrids formed by platinum(II) complexes and block copolymers.
The incorporation of platinum(II) complexes into block copolymers leads to the formation of luminescent polymeric hybrids with hierarchical nanostructures from spherical, rodlike micelles to vesicles in solvents.

Rod-like platinum(II) acetylide complexes have been demonstrated to form one-dimensional helical supramolecular polymers by the cooperative growth mechanism, leading to supramolecular gels by bundling single fibrils into entangled networks.
متن کاملDipyrrin based luminescent cyclometallated palladium and platinum complexes.
A series of complexes based on the combination of cyclometallated palladium or platinum moieties with functionalized dipyrrin ligands bearing mesityl- or benzonitrile groups have been prepared and characterized both in the solid state and in solution; these compounds exhibit a characteristic dipyrrin-centered luminescence with an emission intensity modulated by the degree of rotational freedom ...
متن کاملLuminescent iminophosphorane gold, palladium and platinum complexes as potential anticancer agents.
A series of coordination gold(III), palladium(II), and platinum(II) complexes with a luminescent iminophosphorane ligand derived from 8-aminoquinoline [Ph3P=N-C9H6N] (1), have been synthesized and structurally characterized. The coordination palladium(II) and platinum(II) compounds can evolve further, under appropriate conditions, to give stable cyclometalated endo species [M{κ3-C,N,N-C6H4(PPh2...
